Stability Test
Stability testing generates critical data for cosmetic manufacturers about the safety and shelf life of their products and allows you to align your products with cosmetic stability testing guidelines.

Stability testing is an experiment in which the created formula is applied to different environmental conditions for a certain period of time. These conditions vary in temperature and humidity and are intended to simulate what happens to the product throughout its life cycle.

Given the subjectivity adjacent to time-lapse testing, real-time monitoring is recommended to verify stability test results.

Accelerated Stability Testing is a predictive study that can be used to estimate the expiration date of the product. During the shelf life of a cosmetic product, its properties may change as the product ages, so the following parameters should be evaluated during stability tests:

Physical and chemical integrity tests: Color, odor, pH value, viscosity, texture, fluidity and emulsion stability (signs of decomposition) are evaluated.
Microbiological stability tests: Evaluates the degree of contamination with bacteria, mold and yeast.
Packaging Stability tests: Evaluates the effect of packaging on the product it contains.
